So i was talking with this guy today, and we were talking about his relationship, and whats going on, how he doesnt really know why he is in this relationship, whether it just be the fact he wants a "serious" relationship or whether he was really into this girl. Now this guy is one of the nicest guys i know... and that seriously is totally cliched sounding but its true. He's one of those guys that, you are just comfortable around, the kind I would, god forbid, cry around. And he sort of has something with this other girl. Now usually, with my absolutely horrific experience with boys would say hes a dog. But is he really? Or is he just a guy who doesn't really know what he wants. I mean to me you can't make anyone do anything they don't want. You may have the power of persuasion to sway them in whichever direction but essentially we all think for ourselves. So when someone "cheats" i think its the fact that they're looking for something. And maybe that's just talk for guilty people easing their conscience, but is it really fair to expect one person to give you everything you need all the time? One person giving you something you need or want at one point in time yes, but what happens when you need something else? It's like friends, you don't have one friend do you? There's the friend you go to when you want to party, the one you go to when you want to vent, the one you go to when you need someone to listen to you rant and cry. Can we compare this to polygamy in the sense of dating? How do you define who you want and who need when you don't know what you want and what you need? But some times there's that one person that just knows. You have no idea what you're doing or what you want. But they just know. And that's where you settle.But how do you know?
